ANNA MOORE
Anna grew up in Idaho, where an artistic lifestyle surrounded her from the start. She is forever grateful to her father, Robert Moore, for teaching her how to savor the beautiful, not just in art but in life.
Anna enjoys working with oil in a painterly style. She prefers trees and flowers for their organic rhythms.
“I want my paintings to evoke an inspirational or uplifting feeling from any distance, as nature does. When I look at my paintings up close, I see mini compositions. I work layer on layer to produce these small interactions of color and texture, like measures of a song or moments in a life.”
Anna earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Utah State University, emphasizing in graphic design. She will always look up to her USU professors. Her studies included a trip abroad in Germany where she painted and viewed museums. She was honored to be selected by USU’s Caine College of the Arts as a Caine Scholar, the college’s most distinguished scholarship.
Anna lives in Missoula, Montana where she loves to be outside.
