Description
Night has always felt like a sacred time to me. The world grows quiet, the wind carries stories, and the land seems to remember everything that has come before. In this painting, I imagined a band of wild horses dancing beneath the moon.
Rather than painting every detail, I wanted the horses to emerge from layers of color and texture, as though they are becoming one with the night itself. Thick passages of paint, sweeping marks, and vibrant flashes of turquoise, violet, crimson, and white create the feeling of motion rather than description. The landscape and the horses dissolve into one another, reminding us that they belong completely to the earth that carries them. The moon watches over the scene like an ancient witness, illuminating a fleeting moment of wildness that has existed for generations.
To me, these horses symbolize the untamed spirit that still lives within all of us—the part that longs to move freely, trust intuition, and remember our connection to the natural world.
