AMBER BLAZINA

Growing up on the windswept prairies of Eastern Montana on a secluded wheat farm, Amber formed a deep connection to the forces of nature, both the landscape and the animals that dwell there. Now painting from her studio and en plein air in Belgrade, MT, she transmutes this formidable energy into her oil paintings, connecting the viewer to the primal spirit of the natural world through bold and instinctive brushstrokes.

After becoming a full-time artist in 2018, she has received recognition of the following: Western Visions Art Show + Sale at the National Museum of Wildlife Art; The Russell First Strike Friday Night Auction, The Russell Live Auction, and the Art In Action(TM) Auction at the C.M. Russell Museum; the Quick Draw and Auction at the Jackson Hole Falls Arts Festival, Big Sky Journal’s Artist of the West, and the Western Visions Artist Award at the Young Guns Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale.

SUMMER SPITSBERGEN

Born on a ranch in Montana and raised in Southern Colorado, Summer Spitsbergen has been around ranch lands since she was a little girl. “From a young age, I have been romantically influenced by the scenery of the southwestern United States. The natural beauty of the vibrant landscapes, the working cowboy and horse are a common theme in my work.”

Summer currently lives on her family’s working cattle ranch. This facilitates much of the inspiration for her paintings and subject matter. She is also fond of wildlife native to the Western United States including bison and elk. She has a deep and personal connection with the land and animals from working on the ranch and riding her horses daily.

SUSIE ROSSO WOLF

Susanna Rosso Wolf is a self-taught artist focusing in abstract, multimedia compositions. She strays occasionally to florals and landscapes with just enough abstraction to identify her work. A lifetime of photographing landscapes and western settings provides the primary basis of her work.

Wolf was born in Santa Monica, California and raised in Los Angeles to an artistically talented family. In a home filled with love, joy, and rhythm, Susie was given the gift of her own talent at a young age. In addition to music, Susie practiced ballet at the Culver City School of Ballet. Singing in various groups and studying classical voice with Dr. Dean Verhines of the Metropolitan Opera eventually led to Wolf’s scholarship to California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) as a coloratura soprano in 1974.

Susie paints at home in rural Montana where her husband, Kurt Wolf, designed and constructed a small but functional art studio. Mastering composition, creating paintings, and photographing nature is the food of life that not only feeds Susie’s soul but heals her heart, mind, and body.
