Kira is a modern impressionistic oil painter who has training in Russian Impressionism and Western Tonalism. She paints what she knows: the land, the people, and the culture of the west. Montana in particular.  These impasto style oil paintings are on large, custom-made, gallery-wrapped canvases.

Kira creates spaces through scope, scale, color palettes and subject matter and is known for thick and juicy impressionistic paintings.  In the past few years, she has gained national publicity for depicting Montana tribal tipis.  These tipis have been used in promotions for nationally recognized museums such as the CM Russell in Great Falls, MT.
