Growing up on the windswept prairies of Eastern Montana on a secluded wheat farm, Amber formed a deep connection to the forces of nature, both the landscape and the animals that dwell there. Now painting from her studio and en plein air in Belgrade, MT, she transmutes this formidable energy into her oil paintings, connecting the viewer to the primal spirit of the natural world through bold and instinctive brushstrokes.

After becoming a full-time artist in 2018, she has received recognition of the following: Western Visions Art Show + Sale at the National Museum of Wildlife Art; The Russell First Strike Friday Night Auction, The Russell Live Auction, and the Art In Action(TM) Auction at the C.M. Russell Museum; the Quick Draw and Auction at the Jackson Hole Falls Arts Festival, Big Sky Journal’s Artist of the West, and the Western Visions Artist Award at the Young Guns Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale.
